The product is not a generic BI tool or upstream ingestion platform. It is an analytics engineering control plane: source data lands in your ClickHouse, Platinur profiles the selected tables, interviews you about your business, generates and validates dbt models and governed metrics, builds Evidence dashboards, and moves production changes through GitHub-backed promotion.

Core responsibilities

  • Configure and test data sources.
  • Load source data into your warehouse.
  • Select source schemas and tables for modeling.
  • Generate dbt staging, warehouse, and mart layers — plus governed metrics — from a business interview.
  • Let the Assistant answer questions and propose validated dbt and Evidence changes.
  • Apply validated changes to Staging in one motion (files staged, models run, dashboards rebuilt).
  • Prepare a dependency-aware named release and publish it to production.
  • Run, schedule, and monitor source loads, dbt runs, and dashboard refreshes.

Product surfaces

In sidebar order:
  • Assistant answers data questions and creates or repairs dbt and Evidence changes in Staging.
  • Promotions reviews staged changes and publishes them to production.
  • Integrations configures, tests, discovers, loads, and schedules the eight supported source types.
  • Models has five tabs: Models, Metrics, Data, Schedule, and the Staging-only Build workflow. Lineage appears inside Models beside the model layers and tests rather than as a separate tab.
  • Dashboards opens Evidence dashboards and manages their metadata, groups, sharing, subscriptions, and staged deletion.
  • Monitoring shows failures, in-flight work, schema drift, and audit activity.

A Staging / Production toggle at the top of the sidebar scopes the environment-aware views; Integrations, Configuration, and Settings apply to both environments.

The operating model

Development happens in Staging: the Assistant builds and changes models there, and every change is validated in isolation before it is committed to the staging branch. Promotions shows actual dependencies between those ordered changes. To release, select the work you want, review any automatically included requirements, validate the Production and remaining Staging states, name the release, and publish it through GitHub. Independent work can remain available for the next release. Platform-supported AI is included with every workspace; adding your own API key is optional.
